Last day reflections

1What did you learn about photographythat you did not know before?
The first thing i want to say is i really enjoyed this class because the energy and excitement you had explaining things. There's a lot of things i learned in this class but the biggest thing i learned is that taking pictures is about perspective and lighting its not just snapping photos. The other thing i gained from taking this class is i understand how cameras take photos.I really enjoyed using photo shop because you can take a pic and alter it any way you want .
2.What did you learn about your self?
I learned that i am a perfectionist with photo shop and that i am never satisfied with the photos i take because i always notice the little flaws. The other thing i learned was that asking for peoples opinions helps a lot because somebody else can point out the obvious things that i didn't notice. The other thing i learned was that relationships hurt.
3.What do you wish we had done that we did not?
I really wish that we would have worked with film more i understand that it cost to much but i was really excited to use my dads film camera , but other than that i really enjoyed the projects we did and i liked using photo shop.
4.what did you struggle with?
The main thing i struggled with was that there was no right or wrong and so i always had a hard time trying to be creative, but most the time it was when i wasn't trying to be creative that i got the best pictures. The other thing i struggle with on a day to day basis is that i am a procrastinator and sometimes i let projects go to the last minute and i always felt like the photos i did last minute were crap.
5.What did you conquer?
I think the main thing i conquered was understanding the computers because i had a hard time with Photoshop and i finally started understanding after a while. The other thing i conquered was getting most all of my projects in.

I found out that taking pictures with shadows wasn't as easy as it sounds, I discovered that taking pictures of objects by setting them on a solid surface got the results that i wanted. I struggled with doing silhouettes because i did this by my self I couldn't really hold the flashlight and take the picture, but that's my fault . I really enjoyed taking the pictures with the long board wheels , I think that the color photos are better but I ll let you be the judge of that.
